Bans
_bans is a superuser-only system collection — a banned record can
never see or list its own ban row, unlike _sessions. POST .../ban/{id} (superuser-only, body {reason?, expiresAt?}) bans a
record; DELETE .../ban/{id} lifts it. On the client this is
cb.admin.ban(collection, recordId, {reason?, expiresAt?}) /
cb.admin.unban(collection, recordId).
Banning rotates the record’s signing key and revokes every live
session immediately — it isn’t just a flag checked on the next login,
every outstanding token for that record stops working right away, the
same way a password change already invalidates sessions via
tokenKey rotation (see Authentication
overview). Every login path,
including auth-refresh, answers 403 "This account is banned." for
a banned record.
